Hours Of Operation: Halos Daycare is open from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, throughout the year.
Sharon Baptist Church opened Halos Daycare as a ministry to the community to meet the spiritual and developmental needs of children ages 6 weeks to three years. Halos Daycare is a Christ-centered program where children are exposed to general Christian principles through a loving Christian environment.
Our purpose is to help children develp their physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual potential. This is achieved by providing children with opportunities to be creative, to explore the environment, and to develop personal interaction skills. Children develop through a balance of sef- and teacher-directed activities. Our staff offers positive role models and provides suportive and nurturing opportunities in the classroom. Our staff will encourage the children to develop creative and inquiring minds, build good relationships with peers and adults, and develop a loving relationship with God.
Teacher/Child Ratio: Maximum enrollment is determined by the Licensing Division of the Department of Social Services. Enrollment at Sharon Baptist Halos Daycare is limited to maintain a low pupil/teacher ratio in order to build quality in the program by providing better standards than the minimum required for licensing.
